Biography
Xavier Maldague, P.Eng. and Ph.D. is Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Université Laval, Québec, Canada. He has trained over 50 graduate students (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) and contributed to over 400 publications. His research interests include infrared thermography, non-destructive evaluation (NDT) techniques and vision/digital systems for industrial inspection. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Indian Society of Nondestructive Testing, a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada, a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Nondestructive Evaluation and a Fellow of the American Society of NonDestructive Testing. In 2019, he received an honorary doctorate in infrared thermography from the University of Antwerp (Belgium).
